2008 10 Mile Time Trial League
Start time for each event 7.00 p.m. unless otherwise stated on start sheet. On occasions of inclement weather any decision to cancel will be taken at the start area.
POINTS
Points will be allocated as previously but the exact number of points available in each section will be determined by the number of entries and will be announced prior to the first event. A competitor's best TEN positions will count and a minimum of TEN completed rides are necessary to become eligible for an award.
ENTRY FEES AND MARSHALLING
Competitors’ performances will not be included in the League Table until they have paid the Series’ entry fee, which is not retrospective. All senior entrants will be required to "stand down" for one specified week to assist with the marshalling and start timekeeping. A full list of the marshals for the whole series will be published at the start of the Series. If you are unable to marshal please notify Jim Cottier at least one week in advance so as a replacement can be organised. Failure to conform will result in exclusion from the series. A number of points equal to the maximum score gained during the series will be awarded to the Marshall on that week.
Drafting is cheating and will result in disqualification from the Series.
Those itinerant competitors who wish to ride one or a few events will require to be a member of a club affiliated to the C.T.T and sign an entry form before they ride the event and a fee of £5.00 (Juveniles £2.00) to be paid to the timekeeper before the start, and their performance will be treated as a private time trial. They will be given a time but will not be permitted to enter in this manner on more than four occasions before being required to "stand down" and Marshall as directed by the League Co-ordinator.
